The hotel made a great base for exploring Stockholm, and we loved our five-night stay. It was busy, but the staff kept breakfast moving smoothly, and we could always find a seat away from noisy groups and families with young children. They were friendly and helpful throughout. Our room was stylish, clean, and fantastic, with a comfortable bed, rainfall shower, and quality L'Occitane toiletries. We appreciated having a gym, even though we didn’t use it, and the lifts worked fine for us on the fifth floor. Breakfast was amazing, with a French touch. The croissants were among the best we’ve had. We also enjoyed dinner in the bistro. The location is very central and upmarket. On Friday or Saturday nights, you may hear road noise or sounds from nearby bars and nightclubs. That isn’t the hotel’s fault, but light sleepers may want to keep it in mind. Earplugs are provided.

This is a clean, efficient boutique hotel with friendly staff and a self-service setup. Breakfast was filling and very good, especially the coffee and orange juice. There are plenty of high-end shops in the area and nice restaurants nearby. It’s about a ten-minute walk, or less, to the water and the handy Tram 7. Buy your SL tickets, they check them.

The location is excellent, close to everything we wanted to see in Stockholm, and the hotel had a relaxing feel from the moment we arrived. We stayed three nights in a junior suite for our wedding anniversary. The room was large and very high quality. We ate at the bistro on our first night and had a great meal in a lovely atmosphere. We started with oysters, then my wife and I both had steak, which we really enjoyed. We’d happily recommend this hotel.

The daily breakfast was probably our favorite part. It was delicious, with a nice choice of lighter dishes freshly prepared in the kitchen. We also stopped at the lounge bar for a nightcap, and I’d recommend the Brandy Alexander 🍸. We stayed in the cheapest room, which was plenty big for two adults and, most importantly, clean. It had a small balcony overlooking the neighborhood. The Sparrow has a lot of charm, with winding hallways, little surprise lounges on different floors, and older elevators that suit the place. The staff were super friendly and helpful the whole time.

You can walk to all the Stockholm sights from this hotel. It’s in a lovely old building, full of beautiful architectural details. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the rooms felt inviting, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast had a great selection, delicious food, and wonderful service. Definitely recommended.
