The room was quite cold, especially at night, and there was no mini fridge. We also hadn't realized that some Captain’s Delux rooms don't have a bathtub. That should be made clearer, and I think rooms without one belong in a cheaper category because the experience isn't the same. We stayed in the Captain’s Delux room, and its design and atmosphere were excellent. The rest of our stay was very pleasant.

The room's window let in noise from a lively street, even late at night, and the streetlight right below it shone through the blind. Better shutters would help people like me who need complete darkness to sleep. There's no fridge either, so I guess I'll have my soda warm. I did love the decor and the pleasant staff. The little boat in the shop window built into the wall is beautiful, and there's a handy bedside wall nook for your phone and things, with a plug right there. The TV has Netflix and other options, with good picture and sound quality. It's nice to have decent tech in a hotel.

We've stayed at Lord Nelson, Lady Hamilton, and the Victory several times, and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. They're warm, welcoming, family-run hotels with a great naval theme. We love Stockholm, and the old town is the place to be.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the pillows were amazing, which is hard to find in hotels. The Victory Hotel has so much character and warmth, with its nautical decor and quaint historic feel. It feels distinctive and full of personality. The staff made the stay special too. Everyone we spoke with was kind, friendly, and welcoming, the sort of hospitality that makes you feel at home while traveling. The location in the heart of Gamla Stan is hard to beat: the Royal Palace is an easy walk away, and the city's museums are quick to reach. At Christmas, Stortorget Christmas Market is only a four-minute walk away. A 10 out of 10 stay for me. I'd choose it again on a return to Stockholm, and highly recommend it.

The hospitality was great, and the rooms were clean, though tiny. It's a perfect spot for walking around Gamla Stan. We even got a free upgrade to a deluxe room without asking. Thanks!
