Arianna Hotel

The hotel was disappointing and left us dissatisfied. We booked three nights for two adults and one child, but arrived to no welcome at all, not even a hello or good morning. The room was cramped and had no television. There was a water heater and glasses, but no sugar, tea, or coffee, and the towels were worn and thin. In general, the hotel didn’t seem clean or well maintained. There were no facilities for a place of worship. Whenever we came or went, the person at the customer service desk wouldn’t look at us or say hello, let alone smile. When we returned the key and said goodbye, he didn’t thank us or say anything else to make guests feel welcome.

Being right in the middle of Little India made getting around easy, with food, shops, and the MRT all nearby. The room was clean and cozy, and worked well for a budget stay. Staff were polite and happy to help, though they could have been a bit more attentive. For the price and location, Arianna Hotel is a good choice for a Singapore visit.

There was no soap, shampoo, or drinking water in the room. Worse, it was very dirty when I arrived, with cockroaches inside. The blanket, pillows, and towel were dirty, the towel had been left on the floor, and the floor itself had not been cleaned properly. I saw dirt throughout. The hygiene and cleanliness were unacceptable, and I wouldn't recommend this place.

The bed was old and smelled strange, and the glass and kettle were old and covered in stains. There was also a foul smell throughout the property, including in the room, which made the stay really uncomfortable. The place seemed poorly maintained, and its cleanliness and upkeep fell below basic expectations. It affected the whole experience. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless they make significant improvements.
