I couldn't rest in the common room during the day because it was noisy, and nights were even worse. A club below the hostel could be heard and felt vibrating through the third floor until about 3am. Other guests returning from it woke us every night around that time, laughing, singing and farting in the rooms despite the 10pm-8am quiet hours. Then some were up again at 6am, making more noise and keeping us from getting even three hours of sleep. It was a miserable lack of consideration for everyone else. I wouldn't stay here unless you're okay paying S$85 and not sleeping.

The air conditioning ran overnight and was very cold. My bed was comfortable, with a blackout privacy curtain and plenty of lockable storage underneath, and the room was cleaned daily. The bathrooms were basic but fine, and staff were friendly and easy to approach. Evenings were fairly noisy, but I wore earplugs and it didn't bother me.

I was on the second floor, and the Indian bar downstairs blasted music until 3am every night I stayed. I barely slept.

The staff were always friendly and ready to offer advice or recommendations, and the common areas felt warm and welcoming. I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the location made it easy to reach public transport and the main attractions. It was good value for money, and I'd happily stay again and recommend it to other travelers.
