Hotel Clover 7

Worst hotel in Singapore, don't waste your time or money, just run! The room was tiny, and the floor was dirty, with hair and a rubber band on it. The control panel didn't work, and the only way I could switch off the lights was to take my room key out. The room phone was dead, and nobody was at reception. To reach the hotel, I had to go to the counter and use the phone there to call them from the other hotel.

The service was awful, and the place felt way too expensive for what it was. When I arrived, there was no one working at reception, so I had to call another hotel to ask them to send someone. My key didn't work, and they told me to wait until morning for it to be fixed. Whenever I wanted to get into my room, I had to call the other hotel and have a woman let me in. The location was okay. There are a few rough streets close by, but it could suit someone who likes nightlife. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

I really love how they used the space in this cute single room, and it still has a large bathroom. Also, there's a water pipe by the toilet, which I love!

I had a great night's sleep, and the room was clean. It's small, but I expected that. For a long weekend in Singapore, when you're likely to spend most of your time out exploring, it worked perfectly for me. There was a fridge and a safety deposit box, and the staff were friendly. The location was excellent, with easy access from the airport. Transport is nearby if you need it, though I found everything close enough to walk. As a woman travelling alone, I'd recommend this place.
