Fraser Suites Singapore

For a Singapore stay of over a week, Fraser Suites is a great choice. Having a washer and dryer made packing light much easier, and there’s a really nice amenities floor and pool. Front desk and housekeeping staff were so warm. The room had plenty of storage and at least 14 wardrobe hangers, along with crockery, cutlery, glassware, and a cute layered tiffin for takeaways. It was fully equipped with cookware and knives, too. Breakfast was perfect, with fantastic variety and top-notch food, and the staff were truly wonderful and warm. Having the mall connected to the hotel was a real joy. It was easy to pop into the supermarket each evening for a drink or snack and head back to my room. There are also lots of restaurants and cafes for dining in or takeaway. The bus stop is right in front, and it’s easy to get a cab through Grab. Our longest wait was six minutes. Zion Riverside Food Market is about a ten-minute walk away, with an amazing vibe and smashing food. Great World mall is only a 12-minute walk and has the famous Ya Kun Kaya Toast, plus my favorites, Din Tai Fung and Tim Ho Wan. There’s also an MRT station on its lower level. I absolutely loved my stay and can’t wait to be back 🥰

The room was neat, clean, and cozy, and the housekeeper kept it that way. The receptionist I spoke with was friendly too. It’s easy to catch a bus to Orchard, with the stop right in front of Valley Point. The building also has restaurants, a food court, and supermarkets, and the neighbors were friendly.

The staff were excellent, and our three-bedroom premier apartment was kept spotless. The cleaner came by daily to change the towels and tidy up, and even replaced the bedding twice during our five-day stay. Breakfast was included and was okay. I’d book this place again if I returned to Singapore.

The dining area was tiny, with very few large tables for families over four, so families may have to sit separately. The food choices were limited, and the furniture looked tired and needed replacing. We also had bathroom smells bad enough that we covered the drains. The staff didn’t greet us or even smile, and they ignored our complaints about the main room’s faulty AC. The safe didn’t work, and nobody came to check it after we asked. We arrived at 2:30 pm after a long overnight flight, but the room wasn’t ready. My kids and I waited more than two hours, until 4 pm, and then found the room wasn’t very clean. It took three days and more than five requests to get an extra bedsheet. This was really disappointing. The service doesn’t deserve five stars.
