Great World Serviced Apartments

The pool was the one part I couldn't enjoy, since there were so many mosquitoes and sandflies that I got bitten repeatedly. I hope management can sort that out. The rest of my seven-night stay was very pleasant. The apartment had all the facilities I needed, the weekly cleaning was reliable, and the bed was so comfortable I had some of my best sleep in ages. Malls and supermarkets are easy to reach, and I made good use of the 24-hour gym before sahur while fasting.

The team were lovely, always smiling and ready to help whenever we needed something. Our apartment was comfortable and fully equipped, and the place itself is beautiful. We especially enjoyed the large swimming pool, gymnasium, kids room and tennis court. The shopping mall and train station nearby were handy too. Thank you so much!

The apartment's location inside the Great World City complex made it easy to get to the shopping centre, restaurants and food courts. The kitchen equipment was good quality, as were the washing machine and dryer, and everyone from reception and security to housekeeping was friendly, polite and helpful. They'd have earned five stars from me on their own. What brought my rating down to three was how little was supplied for our 10-night booking, especially given the high nightly price. There were just four coffee pods for the Nespresso machine, four packets of oxygenated water and half a bottle of detergent, with a sticker saying we had to buy more ourselves. None of those were replenished. Housekeeping came twice a week, so between visits we had to call for tea bags, shampoo and shower gel. More generous supplies, topped up on time, would have made the stay much more comfortable. On check-in we also found water leaking through the shower door onto the bathroom floor. Maintenance responded and fixed it quickly, but the leak made the first night inconvenient, and we had to wait for the maintenance team again the next day.

My rating would be below zero. I've stayed at this hotel for more than seven months, and the rooms, bed sheets and towels are not clean. Cleaning requests are always delayed. One housekeeping staff member has behaved very inappropriately, and repeated complaints about it haven't been taken seriously. I've given them more than enough chances, but nothing has changed.
