The place was not worth $25 a day. For that price I expected better service, useful facilities, and more convenience. The room wasn’t cleaned every day, unlike at other hostels that charge much less, around $17 a day. It was dirty, had bed bugs and a few strange insects, and some appliances were broken. There was no cupboard or locker, or even anywhere to hang clothes. Laundry was difficult too, since there was no dryer or place to hang wet clothes. The toilet wouldn’t flush, and there was no light for almost two weeks. Getting in using the electric door code was hard. Some guests were rude, and one seemed not in the right state of mind and could have harmed someone, but staff couldn’t do anything. If you’re on the third floor with luggage or a bulky item, you have to carry it up a small staircase.
