The breakfast was a nice part of the stay, especially the freshly made local dishes and the excellent coffee machine. In the room, we had complimentary tea, coffee, drinking water, and a full minibar for the first day. The handy phone was useful too, with unlimited data and free calls to several countries. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and our room was quiet and clean, with a comfortable bed. The hotel is in a scenic part of town in a lovely colonial building. We had a very pleasant stay 😊

The staff were friendly, courteous, and always ready to help, and breakfast was included. The room had a comfortable bed, a great shower, a clean bathroom, and a mini-fridge and kettle. There was also an iron and board if needed. It was quiet, clean, updated, and nicely furnished, well above average for the price. The downtown location was convenient for restaurants, Gardens by the Bay, and the waterfront, and the airport was about 20 minutes away. I'd definitely stay here again when I return to Singapore.

We especially liked how close it is to the famous Kampong Gelam shopping street by the Sultan Mosque. The rooms felt cozy, the breakfast was lovely, and the staff were nice. Our minibar was free during our Christmas Day stay. I hope they'll add some popular drinks to it next time ☺️ My husband and I love the place and plan to book The Sultan again. It's become our favorite accommodation in Singapore.

The rooms are spacious, and breakfast was good. They also provide a handy phone, which is useful for staying connected while you're out touring during the day. The hotel is in a nice neighbourhood in a heritage building, very close to the lavender MRT stop. It's easy to get to from the airport.

Our Room 118 was on the ground floor, tucked away from street noise and next to the fish pond, which we liked. The staff were really friendly and helpful. At the One Bowl resto, the guy serving breakfast spoke a little Tagalog with us after learning we were from the Philippines. We also appreciated being allowed to check in early. We picked The Sultan for our 5d/4n in Singapore because the price was reasonable and it was close to some places my wife and I wanted to visit.
