The rooms are cozy, and the staff are super friendly. It’s right in the middle of the city in what seems to be a “little India” area, with lots of Indian people living or working there. Don’t expect five-star luxury, but for affordable accommodation in a good area, it’s more than enough. Staying here was a really amazing experience.
The courtyard is charming, but my stay overall was unsatisfactory. There’s no reception desk, so getting help when something goes wrong is difficult. My room wasn’t clean, and I found a cockroach in the bathroom. Worst of all, the door lock kept making noise at night because its battery was low. No one was available to deal with it, and I barely slept.
There’s no elevator. Still, if you’re coming to Bangkok to shop, this place is worth considering: the malls and night markets are easy to reach, and you can see the city’s colorful nighttime view from the hotel. If I visit Bangkok again, I’ll definitely recommend this place.
The hotel itself is fine, but the surrounding area is horrible. All the restaurants, shops, and people are Indian. It felt like staying in the slum of New Mumbai, without having to go to India.
A balcony and a quiet alley location are nice perks. The room is spacious, with a small kitchen, a small fridge, plenty of storage cabinets, good WiFi and a smart TV. The mattress was hard for my taste, though that seems standard in Thailand.
