Aspira One Sutthisan

The room is a decent size for somewhere to sleep between trips out to the nearby food markets. Bring your own amenities, since none are provided, though that may be fine for many travelers. I did find a spot the housekeeper had missed. It was easy to overlook, but shouldn't have happened. There were some leftover drugs in one of the containers, as shown in the pictures.

I've stayed here eight times now and still like the hotel. It's just a few steps from Sutthisan MRT, and there's a 7-Eleven around the corner. The location is superb. Orn is an amazing housekeeper, quick with the cleaning, careful about the details, and very friendly.

The location works well if you want a more local area, where food and other things cost less than in the busy tourist spots, while still being close enough to the city. The MRT is right nearby. The room was large and fairly clean, the price was affordable, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and always smiling. The resident kitty was friendly too. For a short solo stay, it could be a good fit, and my experience wasn't entirely bad, but there are things that need attention. The noise carries through the walls and from the walkway, and the AC wasn't cold, with a filter that needs cleaning. The water heater and pressure were inconsistent. The cabinet was growing fungus. Housekeeping hadn't changed the sheets after three days, even though I'd left the card asking for it, and the same stains were still there. That made me wonder whether the towels had been changed either. Pillows were far too soft, even the one marked firm. There are few complimentary supplies: no toothbrush or slippers, and the shower gel and shampoo were only tiny one-use tubes provided on the first day. For a four-day stay, that wasn't enough, so I bought my own at 7-Eleven.

The staff were welcoming, and I felt safe here as a woman traveling alone. I also enjoyed the occasional cat appearance, a nice extra for a cat lover. I'd happily stay again. It's almost connected to Exit 2 of MRT Suthisan Station, and the building seems fairly new. My room was cozy and clean, with good shower pressure. The only amenities were shampoo, shower gel, and soap, but a 7-Eleven is about a three-minute walk away for anything else.
