QG Resort

We chose this place because it’s close to the airport and would save us time in the morning. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very polite. They let us check in early, which gave us time to explore Bangkok. The city is a bit far from the hotel, but we knew that going in.

The rooms are clean, the staff are cheerful, and it’s very close to the airport. No need to stay somewhere farther away or more luxurious. Get a decent night’s sleep here, then head back for your flight.

We only stayed one night, and I loved it. The room was clean, and they ask everyone to take off their shoes at the front of the resort. Ours had three beds, heated floors, towels, shampoo, nice curtains and views, plus THREE AIR CONDITIONING machines. It’s about 15-20 minutes from the airport with the GRAB app. We didn’t have time to try breakfast, but it sounded very good.

The owners made it feel like staying at a friend’s place, and they went out of their way to help us. We arrived late, but they stayed up to welcome us and sold us instant food at a reasonable price when we got hungry. They can also make simple meals in their kitchen, and there’s a charming boba and Thai tea shop in front. A taxi to the airport costs 250 Thai Baht one way. It’s a very clean budget hotel in a village, with a no-shoe policy and rooms with several beds that work well for families. There’s a 7-Eleven about a 10-minute walk away. A good pick if you need to catch a flight the next day.
