The manager’s only response to our complaints was that it was a bed and breakfast, not a hotel. I still don’t understand what difference that was supposed to make. We left after the first night, even though we’d booked four. The room we got wasn’t shown when we booked. It had an extremely uncomfortable futon and a window with no glass, so the noise was like trying to sleep outdoors. Then a cockroach walked on me during the night. That was the worst part.

The room had a wonderfully unusual feel, almost like stepping into another time, and the old city sights were only a short walk away. Staff and service were lovely. Great spot and a delicious breakfast, especially the traditional Thai option. Highly recommend it.

Styled after the elegant period of King Rama V, the accommodation made me feel like I was staying in a palace. It’s near sights like the Giant Swing, Wat Suthat, and Khao San Road, while the surrounding community stays peaceful enough to really relax. I stayed in two types of rooms, both amazing!

The room was huge and came with a traditional breakfast. A lovely boutique heritage hotel, and the Boss was friendly and helpful.

Had a wonderful night’s sleep in a nicely furnished room, and the staff were friendly. It’s a charming little hotel with a real old Bangkok feel. Khao San is a short walk if you want that scene. I’d recommend it to anyone after somewhere quirky and a bit different.
