Cher Resort

I loved how quiet and uncrowded it felt, even with everything close by. The resort sits nicely between Cha-Am and Hua Hin, and the views are stunning. The staff are attentive in a personal way, and the service felt tailored from the start. For me, as a European, Cher Resort was a warm, calm boutique escape. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Our three-night getaway felt special and unforgettable. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and wonderfully peaceful, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. We were truly impressed with the service. Everything was perfect.

The beach by the hotel was full of trash when I was there, and lots of people were fishing, so it wasn’t very nice for swimming. The outdoor pools were cleaned every day and were okay, but they’re pretty small. Most of the loungers had stains that looked like cocktail stains. The rooms also seemed poorly maintained, and I noticed small stains on the sheets. The TVs are older and don’t have smart features, so you can only watch Thai channels. I didn’t see an elevator, which could make the stairs difficult for older guests staying on the third or fourth floor. Weekday prices are decent, but superior rooms can cost around 3,000-4,000 baht on weekends. That’s too much for a four-star hotel that isn’t well maintained. I feel reviews are more generous than the reality. I think that may be because they run offers where you get something like a drink for writing a review.

Chickens wander around the yard in the morning at this lovely little place by the ocean. I really enjoyed staying here. The stairs were hard for me, and there’s no elevator, but it was still totally worth it.
