Ai Phuket Hostel

There’s a lovely common garden out back, a place to sit outside, and a hallway where you can watch TV, play guitar or chat. The hostel is nicely decorated, and the staff are very friendly. We had a separate room that was quite clean and well organized. There are lots of books and board games to use, and the kitchen facilities are superb.

It’s right in the old town, and the staff are wonderful and ready to help with anything. The hostel is always very clean, which is great, and the rooms are spacious with excellent air conditioning. There’s a kitchenette guests can use, with free water, coffee and tea. Leo the cat is so fluffy and sweet. There are also two cute cats from next door that you sometimes see. I think this is one of the best hostels in Thailand. Love it, love it, love it!

We only spent one night here because our flight arrived really late, so we didn’t get to see much of the place. It seemed relaxed and fairly well located. Maybe it was just my room, which was nearest the road, but it was SUPER loud with all the bikes and scooters passing. They also shut off the power from 9am to 12pm, so showering in complete darkness was a real treat. Apart from that, it seemed nice.

The location is ideal, with cafés and tourist spots easy to reach, and Kopitiam restaurant, known for its offerings, is only 100m away. It’s a nice place with shared bathrooms, a kitchen and a patio. The atmosphere is positive, and the hosts are helpful and upbeat. There’s a shared kitchen with basic utensils for cooking.
