Patong Buri Resort Hotel

We were told we'd stay in the same room for all three nights, then the next day they moved us without explaining why. The new room had a broken hair dryer. We reported it right away because we urgently needed one, but it wasn't fixed for two full days. They refused to move us again and only offered a working room when our trip was nearly over, so it was no use. The male receptionist was dismissive, rude, and unhelpful. He made excuses instead of helping and ignored our concerns, which made everything more frustrating. On our last day, they charged 1800 baht for a small stain caused by a completely natural issue. I'd never been charged for anything like that at a hotel. The worst hotel experience I've had, with terrible service and no professionalism. I absolutely do NOT recommend it. Don't waste your money or vacation.

The worst part came when we checked out. Before returning our deposit, a receptionist went to inspect the room and came back with a towel marked with my bronzer. He first wanted 600 baht for the shower towel, then said he could charge 500 baht when I questioned him. I said the makeup would wash out with ordinary soap, even by hand, and asked where the lobby toilet was because I wasn't paying. I washed it there myself, and the marks came out easily. Then I got my deposit back. Earlier, we weren't treated respectfully. Music outside was very loud, and we asked to close the bathroom window, which had no handle. The toilet had unpleasant stains that staff called “normal stains,” and one of the two men laughed as he left after trying to shut the window. When we asked for another blanket, they simply said no.

The receptionist deserves a special thanks. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and I had a great stay. My room was clean and comfortable.

I paid the full amount and never stayed a single night. I had asked well ahead of time to move my booking dates, and even offered to leave the difference for the cheaper dates as a credit. They wouldn't agree to the change or honor my repeated requests, including my appeal to cancel once the dates couldn't be changed. The front desk didn't respond, staff couldn't speak English, and the manager was never available to talk. Poor service and management. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
