Patong Max Value Hotel

The location is the best thing about this place, and it’s a convenient area. Our normal-type room was small, old, and clearly in need of renovation, so maybe a more expensive room would have better amenities. The people working there were nice, especially the man who usually works overnight. The AC worked very well, and the WiFi was great. The TV was Android and Smart, so we watched YouTube at night. On the downside, there’s no lift, and a tin shed beside our second-floor room made noise on windy nights. Like at the Krabi hotel, they didn’t provide room slippers, toothpaste, or a toothbrush. For the price, it could work if you just need somewhere cheap to sleep.

I planned on three nights and ended up staying the whole week. The location worked well for both nightlife and morning brunch, while being tucked away enough that neither the nightlife nor morning deliveries woke me. The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping was quick. Staff were friendly and helpful with questions. Just a heads-up, the shower is a little small if you’re a bigger fella. Great stay.

Aommy at the front desk was so lovely and helped with anything I asked. She made my stay really pleasant. The staff were all incredibly friendly. My room was very clean, and fresh towels and bottles of water were left out each morning. It’s very cheap, so I’d recommend it for backpackers.

I came for two days, then decided to stay eight more. It’s a comfortable hotel near Patong Beach and very affordable. The reception guys always greeted me with a smile and were ready to help whenever I needed information.
