What made this hotel special was how thoughtful the staff were. My mother's flight was cancelled twice, so we stayed longer than planned, and they accommodated us without a problem. I was working on a stressful exam while travelling and needed to finish late because of the time difference. While I sat on the balcony, one staff member brought tea and offered food. At 1:30am, a young woman noticed I was still studying and brought coffee and a blanket. Later, when I needed to record something in the room and Mum went out to the balcony, that same woman brought her coffee too. Those little gestures gave me the energy to finish by the deadline. Anyone who's tried to study remotely under stress will know how much that helps. The building is a traditional old Turkish mansion, full of character, with a beautiful courtyard and a lovely balcony. Breakfast was delicious and nourishing. I didn't try a main meal, though it looked excellent. I don't usually write reviews, but the welcome and warmth here deserve a mention. I've stayed in hotels, hostels and B&Bs around the world, and this is among the best hospitality I've had.

We were completely disgusted by the insects in the toilet, including ants and cockroaches, as you can see in the photo. The nights were also super loud, with music coming from both the street and the patio. Breakfast wasn't as good as at other places. For instance, they didn't seem to know how to make decent coffee with the espresso machine. It was our first time in Turkey, and we'd booked two nights, but I really didn't like staying here. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I left a lovely chocolate from Norway behind and came back within three hours, but it was gone 😪 Don't forget your things!

The location is central, the rooms are clean, and the service, food and staff were all wonderful. Everyone was warm, caring and smiling. What more could I ask for? Best holiday ever, a five-star spot.
