The location was perfect for walking to Galata, istiklal Çad and Kabataş. The rooftop views were amazing, but my level two room looked onto the street and felt like a carpark. The lighting came into the bedroom and disrupted my sleep. The double bed was uncomfortable, and I felt myself slipping into the middle several times. I couldn’t really open the bathroom window without being exposed to the carpark. There are no facilities. The staff were just there, like figurines, and weren’t helpful or friendly. The young man behind the counter didn’t offer to help with my suitcases. I feel sorry for the lovely owner, who really needs staff who smile and interact with guests. I hated being on level two, it was disappointing.

If you like a vintage, bygone-era kind of hotel, Art Nouveau Pera is a lovely, quaint place to stay. The top terrace has incredible 360-degree views of Istanbul, and breakfast or evening drinks would both be a pleasure there. It’s also close to the Metro station and bus stop, so you can connect to the city’s other major attractions.

We really enjoyed breakfast on the rooftop terrace. The rooms were comfortable and big enough, and the staff were kind and welcoming with very good service. The hotel is centrally located in the Pera district, close to Galata tower, pubs, and restaurants.

I really enjoyed my room. It was big, bright, well equipped, and had a great view. The shower and restroom were well designed, too. The staff were very nice and helped with every question. Breakfast was great on the 7th-floor terrace, with a mesmerizing city view. The location is convenient for walking to Galata Tower, Eminönü and Karakoy, and both the metro and bus are nearby. Highly recommend it!

The people working here were amazing and ready to help with anything. The rooms were clean and aesthetic, and the views were beautiful. It’s about a 3-minute walk to galata, close to the karakoy tram station too, around 10 minutes on foot. The hotel gets 10 out of 5 for location: near galata, with a view, but still quiet. I’d recommend it again and again. Loved staying here.
