For a first visit to Istanbul, the location is perfect. The staff were respectful and breakfast was good. My room had no balcony or hair dryer, though, and the bars on the street played loud music at night.

Mr Taha was really supportive, though we didn’t have much interaction with the staff otherwise. Our family room had plenty of space, but the bathroom was tiny and sound carried easily from the neighboring room. The hotel feels like a three-star place, so keep expectations modest. It’s on a busy street where you hear car horns now and then, and breakfast was very simple.

The rooms felt new and clean, as if the hotel had recently been renovated in an older building. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and breakfast was decent. We didn’t try the sauna. The old town location is very convenient, with public transport only a few minutes away on foot. It’s a lively, noisy area, with lots of places to eat and 24-hour shops right across the street. For a reasonably priced stay in the old town, I’d recommend it.
