Hotel Bosfora

I'm back for my second stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet, and the location is good. It has what I need, and I'm very happy here.

It's one of the best budget hotels I've stayed in, though neither the service nor the rooms feel budget. The staff are friendly and take a personal interest, helping with whatever you need or worry about. Our room was always clean, and the shower felt great. The location is right in the middle of Beşiktaş, one of Istanbul's busier areas. It's easy to get around from there, with sightseeing spots nearby, and it suits people who like museums as well as going out. We had a really nice stay and loved the reception staff.

The rooms at Hotel Bosphora are spacious, which was a definite plus, but the linens weren't cleaned or changed during my stay, which disappointed me. Two of the three reception staff were very kind and nice, and that made things more pleasant. I gave it three stars. Better housekeeping would make a big difference.

The lobby staff were friendly, and the Beşiktas location is better than many others. Still, the room I shared with my friend was consistently left dirty and not cleaned well enough. The A/C units were old and slow, and sound insulation between rooms was very poor. For what you pay, it doesn't feel worth it, and I wouldn't return.
