Getting around is easy from here, with the Metro, tram, and buses close by, and the location is brilliant. The rooms were clean, though the bathrooms felt cramped. Breakfast was a basic buffet, mostly Turkish style. There were no tea or coffee facilities, and the TV was small and basic with no satellite. The staff don't speak English.

The best thing here is the location, right in the heart of Fatih in a busy neighborhood where I felt comfortable walking around even late. Yenikapi Metro, a major station on Istanbul's network, is about two minutes away if you cross the main avenue over the bridge. It suited me well for shopping and independent travel without guided tours. I stayed eight days last August, and for a low-budget hotel the value was excellent. The service was respectable, staff acceptably polite, and the rooms were cleaned almost every day. Breakfast was fine for the price. If you want a comfortable night's sleep and a decent breakfast, I'd recommend it. The elevator needs repairs, though, and there was noisy work on the top floor during the day. It stopped by evening, and I hope it's finished now.

The room was average, with a very small bathroom, and the drain gave off a really bad smell. Breakfast was very poor.

Clean hotel, very friendly staff, quick service, and close to the metro. A very nice place.
