Just Inn Hotel

The surrounding area is lively and convenient, with cafes, art shops, and mini markets just steps away. Just Inn Hotel is a practical option if you want to explore Istanbul on foot and by public transport. I stayed there from 2 December to 5 December 2025, and the location was excellent, right in the main tourist area. Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are about a 10-minute walk away, and the Bosphorus ferry is around 10 minutes by tram.

The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I also liked the strong air conditioning, which I could switch on or off, and the reception stayed open around the clock. The hotel is in Istanbul's Old City. At the room door, an electronic control let me choose whether I needed cleaning or wanted not to be disturbed.

We had booked a twin room, but when we arrived the hotel said it wasn't available and gave us two tiny single rooms on different floors, the 1st and 6th. Since we were sharing luggage, this was a real hassle. We could barely fit one suitcase, so unpacking and getting ready for bed together wasn't practical. If our room couldn't be provided, they should have updated Agoda or declined the booking instead of letting us arrive expecting it. The receptionist blamed us instead of apologizing. He said the single rooms cost more and acted like we should be grateful for this “good option.” When we complained, he refused a refund, told us to leave, and challenged us to write a review, saying he didn't care. His aggressive manner made us feel unsafe, so we left and found another hotel. The whole experience was deeply disappointing. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and unwilling to take responsibility.

The rooms were very bad. The bathroom door slides along the wall, which doesn't work well. Breakfast was not bad.
