The hotel had only opened about two months earlier, in September 2020, and it felt wonderful to be among its first guests. The owner was so kind and welcoming, and the staff were helpful too. I was especially impressed that the hamam seemed completely unused when I visited, so it’s definitely worth trying. It’s close to the Grand Bazaar and Sultanhamet area, and I’d happily return. I recommend it if you want to stay nearby.

Getting around was easy, with metro and tram stops about a five-minute walk away. The building is nice, the rooms are clean, and the interior looks good. At night, though, noise is a problem: there are two nightclubs on the street, and you can hear people talking and cars honking for hours. The rooms aren’t soundproof, and the bed squeaks a lot.

A pretty standard hotel with helpful staff and a handy spot near the Aksaray bus station. I had no complaints.

We booked two separate rooms with free parking through Booking, but on arrival they said only one room was available. They wanted us all to share it until another room became free, and asked us to hand over the car key for parking in what they described as an unsafe area, charging 50 Turkish lira a day. The whole thing felt really unprofessional and ruined our Istanbul trip.
