Ozer Palace Hotel

The food was fresh and well prepared every day, with lots of variety and good flavors. I also really appreciated that they prepared and served food for suhoor at 4:30 AM. It showed a lot of care for guests’ needs. The staff, especially the reception team, were professional, kind, and ready to help from the moment I arrived. Turkan, Serap, and Perihan deserve a special thank you for their warm hospitality and service. They made a real difference to my comfortable stay. I highly recommend the hotel and would love to return.

The elevator got busy now and then, but it wasn’t a major issue. The hotel is central and good value, with working Wi-Fi and good AC. My room was comfortable and clean, and the housekeeping ladies kept it that way each day. Staff were kind and quick to help, even late at night, always with a smile. It’s very close to the tram and metro, so getting around Istanbul was easy. I enjoyed staying at Özer Palace Hotel and would happily come back. Definitely recommend it if you want somewhere central and clean.

The beds were firm and not very comfortable, and I’d only consider this place for a night or two. The women at the desk were barely nice, though one man really went out of his way to help get a mouse out of our room. He did his best and moved us to another room since we had no other choice. That room kept switching to heat, though, and we woke up sweating no matter how often we adjusted the AC. We were a group of five and ran out of towels. Reception said the whole hotel was out, and told me to use the old ones.

We were a family of four from Germany and had booked and paid for a quadruple room. During our stay, there was a mouse in the room, which we documented and reported as a serious hygiene concern. We were then moved to a smaller room, a downgrade for four people. The reception staff, especially Jahan and Jusuf, and the housekeeping team were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful through all of this. I appreciate their efforts. Still, management refused a refund or price reduction for the stay. They offered only a future stay, which we declined because it wouldn’t make up for what had already happened. The issue was never resolved to our satisfaction. Future guests should be aware of these problems.
