Pera Tulip Hotel

The hotel is exceptionally close to the metro, Istiklal Street, and Galata Tower, all an easy walk away. The breakfast buffet was decent and enjoyable, and the cleaning staff were warm, polite, and welcoming. There was a language barrier, but they were very helpful using a translation app. The building is old and badly needs renovation. Our room was far too small. I booked for four, two adults and two children, but only three of us traveled. If all four had come, there’d have been no room to walk. The windows don’t block sound, and because there are so many cafes and bars nearby, we could hear people chatting late at night from our first-floor room over the weekend. The bathroom had no lock, basic amenities were missing, and the in-room safe was broken. Dinner was a major letdown, mostly just salad. The front desk and dining staff were inattentive and unwelcoming. They didn’t interact with us much, though we saw them engaging with other guests, which was quite odd.

Sofia was a wonderful, truly professional therapist, and the massage was strong and just right. My whole package, including massage, sauna, facial, and body wash, was clean and well organized. The receptionist was very helpful and even gave us a good discount. Highly recommend! 😊✨👍💆‍♀️

I’d read other reviews mentioning the noise, but now I understand how bad it is. The soundproofing is a joke. I arrived around 1 a.m. on my first night, and as I was getting ready for bed, loud sexual noises started next door. About half an hour later, two people were talking and laughing loudly in the corridor. Guests in other rooms banged on the walls, and someone a couple of rooms away shouted “stop.” I was exhausted from traveling, but still couldn’t fall asleep at 2:43 a.m.

I stayed here with my wife and twins for 4 days. The location is strategic, the breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Their service was good. Go ahead and book with them.
