Smart and Simple Hotel Karakoy

We spent five nights here and appreciated how easy it was to reach the bus, tram, and ferry stops, all within about five minutes on foot. The room was cleaned daily, too. The hotel puts you near the city centre while still away from the noise of the more touristic spots. The reception team made things easier, offering tips, arranging reservations, and helping us book taxis. I’d gladly stay here again in Istanbul and recommend it.

My room faced the back of the building, and it was so quiet that I slept like a rose. The hotel is in the lively heart of Karaköy, just steps from the iskele, and daily cleaning kept the room spotless. It’s a smart, modern place, but not bare bones. There’s a good bed, a warm shower, and complimentary coffee, tea, and water. The hotel feels relatively new, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

That kind of genuine hospitality meant a lot. The rooms are spacious and well soundproofed, so I rested well after long days out. The property was spotless, modern, and welcoming. Galataport is just steps away, with restaurants for every budget nearby, and tram, bus, and ferry stops make it easy to get around Istanbul. I’d highly recommend staying here. The location made it easy to get around, with the T1 tram station close by and a shopping mall nearby. Smart and Simple Karakoy is small, but it has the basics I needed, including a hair dryer, TV, and, most importantly, an air conditioner that cooled the room well. The staff were friendly, smiling, and provided good service. I really liked my stay in Istanbul.
