The staff were the one thing I liked, though the chefs seemed angry with guests. I stayed seven days, left the room-cleaning button on every day, and still had to ask the cleaners three times to clean while I was heading to the beach. The food was poor and bland, with the same dishes each night apart from some tasty pears. Arriving at the hotel was the first letdown: it felt like I'd paid for a stay I didn't want. If you come to Turkey hoping to enjoy what the country has to offer, I'd avoid Grand Cortez. I know Turkey can be beautiful because I'd visited before, but I regret those seven days. 1.3-10.

The rooms were a mess, with dust everywhere and sunflower seeds all under the bed. The AC ran but didn't cool the room. Food was only okay, with odd combinations, and the snack bar served chicken nuggets and kebap that looked cooked but were raw inside. The animation team invited people to games, but there was a catch: I paid 15€ for bingo tickets after being told the grand prize was a whole shisha set. When I won, the guy said the prize was just a chance to smoke shisha, which normally cost 10€. My cigarettes were stolen twice, and it felt like everyone was trying to scam or rob you. To top it off, nobody knew how to speak English. I was very disappointed with the hotel.

The pool was the one bright spot, clean and well kept. The rest of my stay at Grand Cortez Hotel & Spa – Alanya was disappointing. The food was often cold and tasteless, with poor quality and little variety. Room cleaning was inconsistent, the bedsheets weren't changed regularly, and hygiene overall fell short. The beach towel service closed too early, so there was no way to exchange towels after a certain hour. Many staff came across as unprofessional and sometimes arrogant, and made little effort to help or speak respectfully. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless the service, cleanliness, and staff attitude improve significantly.

The cleaning was well organized and cleanliness was at a very high level. But the hotel was old, including the rooms, and staff didn't know how to speak English. The food was a 1 out of 10. Grand Cortez was the worst experience of my life so far. I'd tell the staff to renovate and make lots of changes. If you're thinking of booking it, don't waste your money; it's a terrible hotel.

From 06.09.2025 to 12.09.2025, I had the worst holiday experience of my life. When I lost a valuable personal belonging, staff didn't seem to care, so I opened a case with the police. The "general" manager told me, and I quote, "we don't care to bother with guest problems". The premises, rooms, and facilities were very, very old and smelly. They tried to clean, but it still felt awful. Communication was almost impossible because the staff knew not a single word of English. Food was mediocre at best, with the same limited choices every day, awful grill, very old bread, only three types of fruit, and awful drinks. It seemed mainly aimed at rural people from Turkey, with many "hill billy" Turkish guests. If you've stayed somewhere better, even elsewhere in Turkey, this so-called hotel will feel awful. DON'T GO THERE!!!!!!
