The Green House

We loved our room, with its high ceilings, plenty of space, simple decor and very clean feel. A little extra bathroom lighting would’ve helped with precision makeup, but it was a warm and welcoming stay, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The location was perfect, close to amenities and within walking distance of the town centre and beach front, about 10 minutes away. The hotel is reached by a quiet road and has parking onsite.

The sandwiches were delicious, and every cake and scone was homemade and so fresh. We’ve just had the best champagne cream tea ever. Service was excellent, and the waiter and chefs made the afternoon a real pleasure. I couldn’t fault a thing. Would recommend this hotel 110% and can’t wait to come back and try more of the food.

I didn’t have dinner as I wasn’t hungry, but breakfast the next morning was spot on. I only had porridge, though the menu has other options. The hotel looked amazing dressed for Christmas, and I made good use of the free-standing bath in the Birch Cherry room. The room was clean, smelled nice and was quiet. I stayed one night on business. There’s a lovely feel as soon as you come through the front door, and the reception staff gave me a warm welcome. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful. There are 4 EV chargers, managed by Roam.

Another afternoon tea, and the food was outstanding as always. They catered for gluten-free without any fuss. Definitely recommend the Hot Cross Scone, and we’ll be back for another visit.
