Ceilidh-Donia

Ceilidh-Donia is in a quiet, pleasant area, a nice place to unwind after sightseeing. The Royal Mile is about 15 minutes away by bus, with a very good connection, or roughly 30-40 minutes on foot. Our room was tidy, clean and comfortable, and breakfast was tasty with plenty of variety. The staff were kind and helpful, always ready with advice and a smile. I'd definitely recommend it for a visit to Edinburgh.

A good breakfast, a roomy room, a comfortable bed and a really hot shower. It's a small, friendly hotel near Arthur's Seat, with excellent buses into the city centre, about 20 minutes away. Just be aware that rooms 1 and 18 are on either side of the front door, so there can be noise at night.

Kevin was so welcoming and friendly, and the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The bathroom was well looked after, with a great big shower. Breakfast was phenomenal: Scottish breakfast, porridge and scrambled eggs were all delicious. The city centre is only an eight-minute bus ride away. Highly recommend!

Kevin, the owner, was very kind and brought us a fan to help with the air circulation. We couldn't move to another room because none were available. The bathroom was clean, and otherwise it was a nice stay. Still, the strong damp, musty smell in our room immediately put me off and gave me a headache. It seemed like the carpets could use a thorough steam clean and the curtains a wash.
