David was fabulous and so attentive, and Figgy the wee spaniel was just too cute. We stayed on Saturday night in this beautiful house, with so much history and interesting things to look at. Loved our stay, much better than a generic hotel. I'd definitely recommend it.

The building is beautiful and old, and makes a lovely base for working or exploring. The beds are comfy, breakfast was lovely, and the rooms are cleaned every day. The host was very nice and always helpful, with good communication too. I'd stay again next time I'm in Edinburgh. And I can't forget Figgy, the beautiful spaniel who loves a fuss!

Breakfast was great, and we'd happily stay again. David was a wonderful host and gave us helpful information about Edinburgh. It's an old house with plenty of charm, though you can hear the pipes and people walking around, as you'd expect in an older place. The mattress was new and comfortable. There was a dog and a cat, so keep that in mind if you have allergies. The dog was super friendly, the cat less so.

I slept so well, the bed was sooo comfy! David made breakfast to order, it tasted wonderful, and he took my dietary requirements into account. He's an absolutely wonderful host, friendly and so accommodating, and made the stay lovely. This is a charming period property and a lovely B&B, with great transport links into the centre. I'd definitely stay again, and recommend it if you're after a quintessential Scottish experience.
