Courtyard by Marriott Glasgow Airport

I was fasting the next morning and worried because breakfast usually starts after 0600, while the fast ends around 0520. The hotel’s continental breakfast actually starts at 0300, which helped. The room was great as well. Nathan at reception was wonderful when I checked in. I was early and thought I might have to wait, but he reassured me and checked me in ahead of time.

We ended up at the Marriott Glasgow Airport after leaving the hotel we’d originally booked because it had no heating. I called and explained what had happened, and Tom was so helpful in checking whether a room was available. Check-in was smooth, and our room was clean, warm, comfortable, and lovely. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and we had a great stay. It’s also an easy walk to the airport, about four minutes with just a cabin bag. We’ll definitely stay here again.

We’ll definitely book again. It’s handy for everything, and though walking to the hotel was a bit challenging, the staff gave us really helpful directions. Once you know the route, getting to the terminal and buses is easy. The rooms were spotless, breakfast was great, and surprisingly there was no aeroplane noise at all. A great hotel at a very competitive price.

I’ve stayed at the Courtyard Marriott twice now. This time I booked eight days for work in the area, through booking.com, which I wouldn’t recommend. The hotel’s well placed for the airport and the M8, and the facilities are good. Rooms are a decent size and the beds are comfortable. The place is tidy and staff are helpful, but it can be hard to reach reception. My room wasn’t cleaned every day, though I was often in it later than most, so that may be why. Parking is expensive, and breakfast costs a lot too if it isn’t part of a package. The trip worked well for what I needed.
