Four Seasons Hotel London At Ten Trinity Square

We had afternoon tea on a very hot day, so it was a nice surprise to find that many of the teas can be served iced. The selection is broad, and the food was excellent too. The savoury course was beautifully done, especially the white crab with potato terrine. Scones with jam and clotted cream were lovely, and the Matcha Tiramisu with fresh fruit filling looked beautiful and tasted great. The Lily Vanilli collaboration adds something special. Service was friendly from the door staff onwards. Keiran explained the menu and how tea would be served, and dealt with an allergy in our group without fuss. The setting beside Tower Bridge and the Tower of London is stunning. For the quality, service and surroundings, this is one of London's better-value luxury afternoon teas. Definitely worth booking.

Afroditi at the spa was especially lovely and went out of her way to help me. I really appreciated the care she showed. The front desk team were welcoming and helpful too, and Prabin made me an amazing cocktail at the fantastic Lobby Bar. The staff across the property are what make this hotel special. Its location is convenient, close to Tower Bridge and a minute from the tube station.

The Rotunda Bar & Lounge made a lovely end to our evening after dinner. We started with a soothing pot of fragrant tea and a rich, velvety Irish coffee, and the drinks had come with plump, briny olives and crisp crackers that balanced the sweetness and acidity nicely. Earlier, one cocktail wasn't quite the harmony we had in mind. Our hostess immediately offered to have it remade, and it came back much closer to the profile promised. She was warm and professional from the start, found us a table, and brought over a bartender when she sensed we couldn't decide. He described the drinks in detail, from the botanicals and spirits to the London-inspired touches. There were plenty of tempting signatures, including fig leaf soda, lychee martinis with fino sherry, and pistachio drinks with sweet, tart and herbal notes. The room itself is gorgeous, under an art-deco domed ceiling with high architecture, soft golden light and plush seating. It feels calm but still lively, and we could easily have lingered there all night. The doorman greeted us warmly, and the reception team guided us to the bar with their usual graciousness. This is still my favourite London sanctuary. The hostess, bartender and whole team made us feel genuinely welcome with their care and enthusiasm. We can't wait to come back and try the food we've heard about. For an evening of understated glamour, Rotunda at Four Seasons is a wonderful choice.
