The Resident Victoria

There's a supermarket nearby, which was really handy, and the hotel is close to the main tourist areas. The finishes are elegant and modern, and the rooms are spacious. They seem to have thought of every detail for guests, with plates, a full set of cutlery, a microwave, minibar, iron and hairdryer. As a foreign visitor, I really appreciated that. I'd definitely stay there again.

The Resident Victoria has become our London home away from home, and we keep coming back for the kind, helpful staff and the peaceful feel despite such a central location. We really love staying here. A few small things could make it even better. The bed was good, though a mattress topper might make it more comfortable. The lighting is lovely and atmospheric, but a brighter overhead light would help when getting dressed. I also noticed the bathroom sink water seemed quite chlorinated, while the kitchenette water tasted fresh and normal. We’ll definitely return.

The little details made our stay at The Resident Victoria feel like a real retreat. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was great, and having a kitchenette was a thoughtful convenience. Everything in the room felt carefully arranged for comfort. It’s quiet there, yet right in the middle of things. We were welcomed warmly at reception, and the staff’s care and attention were clear throughout. I’ve stayed at a lot of London hotels, and this was the nicest. It couldn’t have been better, and I’ll absolutely be back.

We had a one bedroom queen suite, and it was impressively quiet. I barely heard anything from other rooms or outside. The location is great too, just across from Buckingham Palace and under a five minute walk to Victoria station, with plenty of food options nearby. There’s no kitchen or cafe in the hotel, though there’s an M&S foods and lots of other choices around. The suite was super clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The kitchenette had a microwave, small fridge, kettle, Nespresso, sink, and real dishes that room service cleaned and replaced. I especially liked the built-in filtered water tap, something many European hotels seem to overlook. The towel warmer came in handy for drying clothes now and then. I’d definitely recommend it.
