Antique House B&B

For my first ever B&B, this one set a high standard. The host seemed genuinely passionate about what he does and made us feel at home. Breakfast was wonderful too: I had the French toast with fresh fruit, which was divine, while my husband chose the full fried breakfast.

Micha and Marlena made me feel at home while I was away, and they’re incredibly friendly and caring hosts. Antique House B&B is my pick for staying in Portrush: it’s two minutes from the train station, has a car park, and the rooms are spacious with beds so comfy you could stay in them all day. The breakfast was honestly the best I had on the whole island. Portrush is a lovely little town for walking around and stopping for coffee, right by the ocean and close to sights like Giants Causeway, about 25 minutes away by bus. Northern Ireland is beautiful and well worth a visit. I’d absolutely recommend this B&B and would go back anytime.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and the property has free private parking, which is a nice bonus. Rooms are practical, with a good shower. Breakfast was tasty, with fresh croissants, eggs and fruit. A fresh loaf in the morning would have been nice, but otherwise it was delicious.

Michael and Marlena were really accommodating, even after I overlooked a straightforward policy detail. The location was great, breakfast was great, and everyone was super friendly. A great base for our Portrush trip. Thanks, guys, we’d recommend staying here.
