We were very pleased with the room and location. It was clean and a good size for my husband and me, with an en suite shower and toilet, a fridge, kettle and TV. The city is only a six-minute drive away, and there’s plenty of parking right outside in the private car park. Lidl is opposite, with a Sainsbury’s further down the road. We were met promptly and shown to our room, with a phone number for help and the WiFi password. The only snag was that the socket by the bed didn’t work.

Good value for money, with on-site parking and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and tidy, though the shower temperature was a bit hit and miss. Truro is a 10-15 minute walk downhill.

The room was dated, though comfortable, and the bed was exceptionally comfy. The TV didn’t work at all. I also couldn’t work out how to get service on arrival, so some instructions would have helped. The very low price for a single room and the bed were pluses, but I wouldn’t want to stay longer than one night.

A simple, clean and comfortable place, with a quick check-in. It’s well placed for walking around: the city centre is about 15 minutes downhill. Lidl is across the road, Sainsbury’s just a couple of minutes away on foot, and The County Arms pub is a five-minute walk.

It was handy for getting around, but the listing gave the wrong impression. It described a two-bedroom place with kitchen access, whereas we found just two rooms, one shared toilet and no kitchen facilities.
