The freshly made breakfast was really good, and the staff were super friendly. Beautiful hotel right in town, with parking on site. We stayed for one night over the weekend and will definitely come back when we're in the area.

We had no trouble parking in the small guest car park at the back. The place is cosy and handy for shops and restaurants, and breakfast in the morning was great.

We had a lovely weekend in the ground floor suite. The room was massive and lived up to its 5 star rating, with a great two person jacuzzi in the bathroom. Breakfast was gorgeous, proper quality. Windermere's restaurants are nearby, and it was a lovely walk to bowness for ice cream and a boat trip. Well worth a visit, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a special place.

A great hotel and a brilliant breakfast. It was a hot summer visit and there’s no air conditioning, but they brought fans up to our room and we stayed cool.

We had a lovely Boxing Day stay in the lakes, and the location was perfect for exploring Windermere and Ambleside. The living room was cosy, and we appreciated having board games to play together in the evening before heading out for dinner. Staff were fantastic, we were greeted promptly when we arrived, and our breakfast waitress was so polite and attentive. Breakfast was lovely too. We'll be back and will recommend it to friends and family. Next time we'll book directly through the hotel, so our money goes to them instead of a booking site.
