The place isn’t huge, but it’s nicely decorated, with a spotless bathroom and really comfortable beds. The staff are cheerful and always ready to help. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in Windermere. And don’t miss the freshly made breakfast or the homemade cake. Thanks, Lisa and Richard, for looking after us so well.

We got around town easily, since the hotel is about a five-minute walk from both Windermere station and the town centre. The team, Susan, Lisa, Ana and Adam, kept everything running smoothly and gave us very good service. Breakfast was delicious, freshly prepared and served hot. The room and bed were on the small side, but that mattered less with plenty of places to sit indoors and outside. We really enjoyed our stay.

The daily slice of cake was a tasty little bonus. My partner and I spent three nights here in September and had a lovely stay. Breakfast, the room and the service were all great. We couldn’t fault the place and would happily recommend it and come back. Thanks for a great stay.

We’d happily stay at the Hideaway again on a trip to the Lake District. Our room was clean, and the full breakfast was amazing. They also give you a piece of homemade cake, which was a lovely treat. We had a wonderful stay.

We felt relaxed and comfortable here, and the location was great. The breakfasts were great too, and the staff were absolutely lovely. We really enjoyed our stay.
