Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Raleigh Cary

We’ve stayed here three times now, and it’s been consistently wonderful. The hotel is exceptionally clean, the beds are comfortable, and everyone we’ve dealt with has been friendly and welcoming. Evan deserves a special mention. He goes above and beyond every visit, with a great personality and useful advice tailored to the area. This time he even told us where to park for a concert to avoid traffic. We’ll keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Evan at the front desk made our concert trip extra nice. He was friendly and hospitable, and took the time to give us directions to the arena that avoided the traffic. He’s the most welcoming concierge we’ve come across in hotels around the States over the past several years. The hotel is lucky to have him. We stayed just one night this past weekend, as usual when we come to Raleigh. The place was clean and comfortable, the beds are good, and the staff are always nice. It’s our go-to hotel here.

I was here for work for about two and a half weeks. The amenities were good. Breakfast was awesome, the gym wasn’t too crowded, and I enjoyed the pool. It was meant to be heated but was pretty cold. I was okay with that, but I can see it putting a lot of people off. The room was really comfortable at first, though the longer I stayed the more I noticed the firm bed. Front desk service was usually good. One evening I mentioned that housekeeping seemed to have thrown away a paper bag of snacks and other things from the desk. That woman showed little empathy and didn’t seem to believe me. The next morning, another woman was very sweet about it and offered to add points to My rewards. I liked my stay and would come back.

I’ve been staying at this location for two years, and it’s still the place I book. It’s clean, convenient, and the staff are accommodating. You’re close to the highway, restaurants, and shops, and downtown Raleigh is maybe 14 minutes away. Traffic around here usually isn’t crazy, and there’s even a bar. Matt behind the bar is consistently great. I’ve been in on both busy and slow nights and always get good service. The drinks are amazing. I can just ask for Don Julio and Sour and he’ll make the best margarita. I’ve never had a bad drink from him. Even when it gets rowdy and packed, he stays attentive, quick, and smiling. I’m sitting at the bar now with about 25 people, no exaggeration, and everyone’s ordered drinks, beer, or wine. He’s keeping up with all of it. Kudos to him. I’ll keep booking the springhill on Ledsome lane.
