I was here for a business conference and didn't stay overnight, so I can't speak to the rooms. The hotel looked clean and very well maintained. The location worked great for a conference, and the valet team were excellent. Despite the crowd, I got in easily when I arrived, and payment and getting my car back at day's end were quick and smooth. Jesse, Ryan, and Andrew were polite and extremely efficient.

The CBD location is great, and the staff were kind and helpful. My room was spacious and clean, with soaps and other items that smelled lovely. I was on the 12th floor and a coworker was on the 16th; both of us had somewhat low water pressure and temperature. I won't take a point off for it, since I've had the same issue at conferences when everyone in the building gets up and gets ready at once.

The clean room, strong shower pressure, friendly room service and accommodating housekeeping were all good, and the valet team was top tier. But I gave the resort two stars because of check-in and checkout. I watched guests of a different race get more attention, detailed explanations and an escort to the elevator. Some were helped before me even though I was already waiting in line. I was simply handed a key and told the nightly charge. Once staff realized I was a member, their tone changed, and they made sure I received my points. The resort needs training on race, equity and inclusion.

The room was comfortable, and the HVAC was so quiet that I never needed to adjust it. Another handy feature was the lobby ATM, which can change bills. We checked in around 9:30 p.m. and had dinner at the restaurant. Our server, who was also the bartender, knew the food and drinks well. I had shrimp and grits, and she made me two great Old Fashioneds.
