The only reasons I gave it two stars were the shuttle service and the shower, which had hot water and good pressure. The rest was awful. I can’t believe they’d charge more than $20 for this hotel. When I walked in, the smell of weed hit me immediately, and getting to my room through the hallways felt like a horror scene. There was obvious mold on the bathroom walls, stains on the mattresses and some pillows, and stains on basically everything, including the walls. The blankets and sheets had holes all through them, like someone had been chewing on the blankets. It looked like nothing had been cleaned. It dropped to 17 degrees outside and the heating system didn’t work, and the help desk wasn’t helpful.

My cousin and I booked one night through Expedia after visiting Levine, and we lasted about two minutes in the room. The lobby smelled strongly of marijuana, and inside we were hit with mold, weed, and a generally foul smell. The bed had holes, stains, dirt, and crumbs. The walls had black handprints and what looked like blood, and there was hair on the toilet and sticky black stuff on the floor. We were itching when we left. The location felt terrible and unsafe. The front desk wasn’t very apologetic, but returned our $100 security fee with attitude. They wouldn’t refund our two-minute stay. Avoid this place.

The whole place smelled like marijuana and other things as soon as we walked in. The room was disgusting and not worth the price, I wouldn’t pay $5 to stay there. There were burn holes in the beds, black handprints on the walls, hair on the toilet that wasn’t head hair, roaches on the floor, and mold on the AC unit. Just horrible, don’t waste your time or money.

The staff were reasonably polite, and the woman stocking breakfast was nice, but the breakfast was bare minimum. The place is run-down and overpriced, and the elevator smelled like vape pens. It was hard to sleep at Sleep Inn: partiers or residents were often heard banging around at night, or sitting in their very loud cars in the parking lot. I asked to switch rooms in the middle of the night because of the noise. Another guest was loudly complaining at the desk and cancelling her reservation, saying they needed to get a professional carpet cleaner. She was right, the carpet everywhere was pretty gross. Don’t take a first-floor room. It’s the worst. This place would make a good low-budget horror film backdrop.
