Travelodge by Wyndham Commerce Los Angeles Area

I've stayed here since 2008 and I'm a Diamond guest with Hilton and Marriott too. In all that time, I give this place five stars. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and a very good price for the service. The staff are friendlier, more courteous, and more flexible than at the other hotels I've stayed at, and they go out of their way to make people comfortable. In many ways, I think it's ahead of Hilton and Sheraton. It's a family and business hotel, so people looking for ladies of the night or recreational medicine shouldn't come. In my view, some people who weren't welcome here have posted false, angry reviews. The location is convenient, near Starbucks, Ozzie, a famous landmark restaurant and cocktails, Commerce Birria for the best Mexican food, Seven Eleven, AM PM, Denny's, and CITADEL outlet center, the largest shopping center in Los Angeles. COMMERCE casino, the biggest and most luxurious casino in LA, is about 10 blocks away. It's close to a major freeway and a short distance from Disneyland and other theme parks. The pool is beautiful, and the family size Jacuzzi and parking lot are clean and well maintained. The lot is secure and patrolled by hotel mobile security and the sheriff, whose office is a block away. Congratulations to Wyndham and Travelodge on this five star property.

The room and bed were clean and okay, but this was advertised as a hotel and feels like a motel. People were loud in their rooms at all hours, and I could hear them yelling and having conversations. I'm checking out and willing to lose $300.

The staff are great, better than great, though with these prices they should be. It's clean and handy for visiting dear friends in the riverbed, but pricey. The pool is there, though the shadow over it makes it look uninviting. I don't think they serve breakfast, and with a Wyndham place I kind of feel like it should be included. Meh, I'd rather find somewhere a bit more upbeat.

The front office girl was snobby, and the laundry, exercise room, pool, and breakfast were all closed until further notice. The pictures don't show what the place really looks like. I won't come back or recommend it. Do not book.
