The room was clean and the stay was fine, though nothing really stood out. There isn’t much around the hotel besides other hotels, and the HVAC made a few minor noises. Breakfast had the usual eggs, sausage, and make-your-own waffles. The nice extra was a cook at the omelette station who made them to order.

Parking was plentiful, and the hot breakfast was good, though the omelet station got very busy in the morning. This is an older property, but the location worked really well for us, with easy access to major roads and an 11-minute drive to Love Field even during rush hour. We also had a reservation problem. The staff did their best to accommodate us, and after the stay I emailed a manager, who apologized and took care of everything.

We were here for a hospital visit for my son, and Paul was so kind to my little guy. He made us feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is beautiful, but Paul is the reason we’ll come back. I wanted to hug him for how kind he was to us.

Thank you to the manager who came back in around 4pm on Friday May 22, 2026 to help us sort out our frustrating room situation. I’m sorry I didn’t get your name, but you really helped us out and prevented a terrible situation that shouldn’t have happened. We stayed an extra night because of you. You’re worth your weight in gold, and I hope someone recognizes your potential. A lot of hotels could use your help.

There were roaches in the room, so we didn’t stay. The kicker is that we have to wait for the manager to come in before we can get our money back. Now we have to spend an extra $462 that wasn’t in our budget.
