Days Inn Dover

By far the worst stay of my life. If you want to be woken by police with guns drawn during a drug bust right outside your door, this is the place. It was beyond filthy, with broken lamps and outlets, cracks in the wall, stains on the carpet, and a smell like actual crap. The truck stop bathroom look is apparently very popular here. The walls are paper thin, so you hear everything next door like you’re in the same room. It’s right by the train tracks too, so if the shootouts and your new roomies don’t wake you, the train will. There was also a guy asleep in the same chair in the main office for at least 12 hours. Someone should check on him :)

Check-in was smooth, and the amenities were excellent. Everything went beyond what I expected. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I’ll stay here again on my next trip.

Great vibe at this hotel, and the customer service was awesome. The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance, including the museum and lots of places to eat, especially the Mexican Restaurant. Looking forward to my next trip {CT}.

My wife and I left after less than an hour and booked another hotel. The room was revolting, with dirty walls, stained sheets, and broken furniture. Nothing seemed clean or maintained, and the pool and amenities weren’t as advertised. The online photos are heavily edited and make the property look decent, but they’re a complete misrepresentation. In my opinion, this place shouldn’t pass a health inspection. Avoid it entirely.
