Force on 5th Avenue Hotel

The rooms feel new and modern, are nicely appointed, and have great views. Stainless appliances make them suitable for longer stays, and the prices were reasonable. Desk staff were friendly, and there are several electric car charging stations within walking distance. One parking note: the hotel's option is a longer walk after hours, closer to three blocks than one, because the shortcut through a store closes at night. Still manageable without heavy bags.

We loved it so much we were ready to move in. The rooms were gorgeous and quiet, and even the city view was lovely. There were plenty of amenities, including an ice machine. Parking was the one downside. The ramp across the street cost $7 per use on weekends and $24 on Monday. With this location, though, that felt like a fair trade.

The two bedroom suite at Force on 5th was wonderful, and we got a late Black Friday deal for a Tuesday night that made the price feel great. We had enough seating for all four of us to spend time together in the shared living, dining, and kitchen area, and brought food for a light breakfast. The views were lovely, from watching ships pass under the lift bridge to seeing Bentlyville light up and shut down. We could walk to Bentlyville, have dinner, and walk back. Parking across the street was confusing: we were told it would be $7+ each time we entered, so since we didn't take the car out, we expected that to work well. When we left the lot, the charge was $24. We're not sure how they calculated it, but it was convenient to park close by.

The kitchenettes were nice, and the place was very quiet. Staff were friendly too. For overnight parking, I'd use the lot they recommend at $10 a day instead of the one across the street that costs around $24. Love Creamery and the Aquarium are an easy walk away. Highly recommend.
