The location is handy, with plenty of places to eat nearby. The building isn't so old that it has funk or remodeling issues. That's about the only upside. One elevator was locked out, and the working one made terrible noises from its floor safety mechanism, like it might fail. Breakfast was bland, the hot food selection was weak, and the supply was limited. I went down before 7:30 on both Saturday and Sunday, but there was never milk in the tiny fridge and things weren't properly restocked. I've spent money outside the hotel just to feel satisfied, and I've seen better food in prison documentaries. The Salvo soccer cup is making us use these hotels, or my daughter's team will be kicked out of the tournament for not using their hotel blocks. Minnesota keeps proving why it's losing residents every day.

My room was clean, the staff were friendly, and my digital key worked fine. The shower had great pressure and temperature. Breakfast was average for a Home2 Suites, though I've had better quality at other locations. My Diamond status didn't get my parking fee waived as it had at the Homewood Suites Wauwatosa/Milwaukee the day before. The thermostat went down to 64°, which was comfortable until it wasn't. With no constant fan setting, it kept cycling on and off all night and made the stay uncomfortable. In room 319, the bathroom door wasn't installed properly. Even when closed, the awkward angle left a gap and didn't provide the privacy Hilton should uphold. Housekeeping knocked at 9:30am, despite checkout being at noon, which I didn't appreciate. There were too many inconveniences for me to feel comfortable, and I'd like to try another hotel next time I'm in the area.

Jake recommended nearby places to eat and dog parks after I arrived tired from driving all day. He greeted me with a huge smile, was very efficient, and treated both me and my dog kindly. His hospitality really went the extra mile. If I'm back in Eagan, I'll stay at the home2suites because of Jake.

We checked in late and Jake was there to meet us. He was simply amazing. Our experience was out of this world, and if I could give him 1000 stars, I would. Great hotel!

For international trips, my husband and I always use Home2Suites Eagan. The airport shuttle has been very reliable, and we appreciate the clean rooms, friendly staff greeting us when we arrive, and relaxed breakfast in the morning. The hotel manager, Nicholas Duff, introduced himself to us. Credit to him for hiring excellent employees and staying visible and present for guests. This is our home away from home for airport stays. We're loyal and happy guests.
