I'd definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, affordable place with great service.

The room had dog fur on the floor and under the bed, enough to get on my socks and bedsheet. There was pink mold and black mold in the bathroom, and the smell of the dog's fur was stuck in the heating unit. About 2 hours after checking in, my allergies became very bad. It was frustrating to react so quickly and still not get a refund for a room where someone's dog fur was all over. When I checked out, the attendant said I would have to try for a refund the next day because they didn't know how to issue it. I called the next day and was told they'd “research” it, though checking the room should have made the issue clear. It seemed obvious they hadn't cleaned thoroughly. The room was a health risk as well as unclean, and I wouldn't recommend this place. If you're looking for budget-friendly accommodation, skip it and pay a little extra for somewhere safer, cleaner, and more professional.

The rest of the staff have been kind, accommodating, and professional, and have gone out of their way to make me feel welcome while I'm disabled and my partner and I try to get back on our feet. Other than the problem with Pattie, the stay and accommodation have been lovely. Thank you to them. My complaint is about Pattie. I've seen her yell at female staff while I've been walking by, though I don't know why. She stared at me and my partner while muttering under her breath, which was very uncomfortable. She has been passive-aggressive and condescending toward me as a female guest, and I wasn't sure what her issue was. I've also seen her ignore me in the lobby while greeting my male partner very warmly. I asked other guests about it and heard she was willing to provide five-star service to male guests, including leaving a chocolate bar on one man's bed after some kind of thing. I assume she did that to get a good review, but I don't know. Pattie was away for a week, and it was the happiest I'd seen the front desk staff in a while. Things were peaceful and there were no negative incidents while she was gone. I have already filed a formal complaint about the way she treats female guests and staff. I don't usually leave reviews, but I witnessed how she behaved. As a paying guest, I expect the same decency I try to bring to work, where I've learned to leave my own troubles at the door.
