The place was clean and had everything we could imagine wanting away from home. Rebecca, the manager, and her desk staff Regina greeted us when we arrived, and everyone was friendly throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, too. This is one of the best places my wife and I have stayed, and we'll recommend it to anyone asking where to stay. Thanks again for the hospitality, friendly staff, and great service. I asked for a $60 credit after the final bill didn't match the agreed rate, but the issue still hasn't been fixed despite raising it several times. Guests should check their bills carefully. Customers deserve clear, consistent pricing. My wife was first told by Regina that my stay through February 15, 2026 would cost 98.00 per night. At check in, a clerk quoted 106 to 110 per night, which I accepted. Later Rebecca or Regina said it would be 140 per night. I said I wouldn't stay at that price, and was then offered 120 per night, which I agreed to. My charges were 139.00 per night for 3 nights and 121.00 per night for 3 nights, instead of the agreed 120.00. The difference is (139.00 minus 120.00) × 3 nights = 57.00 and (121.00 minus 120.00) × 3 nights = 3.00, for a total credit requested of 60.00. At checkout I spoke with Calvin. I followed up with Rebecca on February 17, 2026, then with Rebecca and Cherrie on February 23, 2026.

We ended up leaving to find another hotel. The building had a strong old mold smell mixed with cleaning products, as if they were trying to cover it up. The decor may be newer, but the odor was awful, a blend of mold, smoke, and cleaning products. The first room smelled like cigarettes, the second like weed, and the third didn't smell smoky, but the mold was overwhelming. Very stinky. Our “Choice” was to leave.

The response is a lie. You left me on hold for 15 minutes and never came back, and you charged the hold fee on my card instead of releasing it. My bank said the funds had been charged and not released, so I had to cancel the card and file a fraud claim. I also called Choice Hotels and filed a claim. They said they have numerous complaints against this hotel, and anyone can call and find out what I did. We had bites on us from your beds. I was a diamond member with no prior problems, and I will never stay at your hotel again. Who's the crook here? The customer service was the worst, and the hotel has bed bugs.
