I asked for a discount before checking out. The furniture was in bad shape, there was blood on the sheets, and it took forever to get warm water. Cold air came in around the door, so I had to hang a second blanket from the curtains to the coat rack to block it. I put a brown bag on top of the heater and turned it up to 90 degrees to get any warmth toward the bed. The tub was covered in cigarette burns. This was the second-worst stay of my life.

It’s a decent choice if you’re on a tight budget or only staying a short time. The staff were friendly, the price was pretty good, and there’s Wi-Fi. The renovated look is a little worn, but everything was clean and worked well. Being able to park right beside your room is a nice bonus.

The area is handy for food and shopping, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. But the room smelled strongly of mildew, and there was a huge dark stain on the corner of the bed under the blankets. Several spiders came out too. I left with the kids for Best Western after being in the room for almost three hours. Definitely inspect the room before settling in.

The room and towels were clean, but the room smelled like mildew and the bedding smelled horrible. Whoever puts out linen and towels that smell like that at the laundry needs to be fired. I wasn’t happy at all and didn’t sleep well.

This used to be our go-to motel back in the day. Prices have gone up, and I think different people own it now. I mean, I’m sure it’s still nice, but...
