The room smelled like sewage. The hotel looks nice, but the front desk wasn’t friendly. The clerk seemed angry when I asked about complimentary water for Honors members.

The lobby and layout were nice, but I wouldn’t recommend it to friends or family if they get the same room experience I did. The hallway had very dark patches, and I couldn’t tell whether they were part of the carpet pattern or just dirt. My room smelled moldy, mixed with what seemed like carpet-cleaner fragrance. I can’t speak for every room, so your experience may vary.

Michele in guest services made a rough night much easier. Our little one got sick in bed, and while we cleaned the kid up, Michele quickly changed the bed and took away the soiled bedding. That alone deserves five stars. The rest of the stay was easy and comfortable too. We had a double queen deluxe room, which was really spacious compared with the shoebox rooms you often get elsewhere. The few extra dollars were well worth it. I could connect the room to my app and control the thermostat, TV, and lights from my phone. It was my first stay at this Hilton, and I’d give more than five stars if I could. Thanks again, Michele. Hot water for showers seems spotty in rooms farther away, so I’d ask for one near the elevators.
